Strategy

Whether your organisation is already quite advanced in this space and want to reshape your strategic direction or whether you are at the very start of your journey, we will help you develop a strategy that will be aligned with your existing business plan and organisational frameworks and takes into consideration your organisation’s unique level of maturity.

We will partner with you to engage key stakeholders in the process, invite all voices to have an opportunity to contribute, develop a tailored business case specific to your organisation, develop relevant case studies, and provide you with a strong foundation of data and research to draft a bespoke best practice inclusion and diversity strategy that is measurable, sequenced and achieveable and that will take into account possible “quick wins” and will your organisation to the next level.

We can also help you develop a suitable inclusion and diversity (I&D) governance structure, including Terms of Reference for your I&D Council and/or Role Descriptions for key stakeholders and internal partners.

 

Action Plans

Maybe you already have an inclusion and diversity strategy or policy and now you want to outline the practical steps you need to take to put your strategy into action, meet legislative requirements, and/or to reach your organisational milestones. Or maybe you want to refresh your existing action plans based on a new strategic direction for the organisation. We work with you and engage your key stakeholders to develop a tailored and measurable action plan that will set realistic but ambitious goals and will help you create accountability and governance around your I&D program. Examples include: Gender Equity Action Plans, Accessibility/Disability Action Plans, LGBTIQ+ Inclusion Action Plans, Multicultural Action Plans and Intersectional Action Plans.

Policies

Whether you are looking to develop an overall I&D Policy, or whether you are looking to create a specific policy (e.g., a Workplace Adjustments Policy) or an aspect of an existing policy (e.g., a Recruitment Policy), we can help you explore the policy solutions that are best for your situation. We an also work with you to review and update existing policies to reflect best practice and changing organisational or legislative needs.

Training

Building organisational capability and confidence is a key element of the successful implementation of inclusion and diversity initiatives.  We will work with you to develop tailored training for your teams, your leaders and/or your whole organisation to provide and embed the necessary knowledge and understanding to support the ethical and equitable embedding of I&D principles in your organisation.  Our training is interactive, evidence-based, and can be delivered online, face-to-face, or a combination of both.  Bespoke pre- and post-workshop activities and effectiveness measures can also be developed.  Topics include:  DEI Foundational Awareness, bias (conscious, unconscious and systemic), inclusive leadership, inclusive behaviours, inclusive language, bystander action training, cultural intelligence, LGBTIQ+ awareness and ally, everyday sexism, sexual harassment, and disability confidence training, and more. 

We can also tailor specific professional development training programs for those leading this work in an organisation, including members of I&D Council, leaders of employee-led Networks, etc to help create a sense of shared purpose and unity. 

Coaching

Do you have some key people in your organisation need some assistance to connect to this work and personalise it for their own situation? Do you have someone/some people (regardless of level) who would like to champion this work in your organisation but they are unsure how they can assist / what they can do to help / how they can inspire others to embrace this work?  Would some of your leaders or key stakeholders in your organisation benefit from exploring the concepts and reflecting on their mindsets, actions and behaviours in more private and personalised setting? 

We offer one-on-one coaching sessions to address the needs of your organisation.  Your situation may require a one-off session or it may require a few sessions over an extended period of time to measure behaviour change.  Please contact us to discuss your needs and explore options further with us. 

Tailored Services

We offer tailored services to organisations to address your unique environment, your needs, and your inclusion challenges. It might be a policy review, advice on how to make training accessible to all, or how to bring about organisational culture change in particular pockets of your organisation who are resisting broader efforts. We also offer best-practice advice to help you support individual staff who may require additional assistance, for example those affirming their gender in the workplace, those who have substantiated discrimination cases (either the complainant or the respondent) and those who require workplace adjustments.
